Fire-resistant Glass
Fires can start anywhere, and it’s important that fires, in the event they cannot be extinguished by traditional means, should be contained for as long as possible. Fire-resistant glass is designed to contain flames and inflammable gases, but not designed to prevent heat transfer.

Fire-insulating glass is also available that does the same thing, but also prevents heat transfer to the other side. Our wired glass usually comes with either a 30 or 60 minute fire-resistance rating, but we are able to source from all major glass suppliers if a longer duration is required.

If requested, we can also provide details on full glazing installation solutions to fully maximize the benefits of your new glass. If the glass is to be installed in doors, side panels, or low-height windows, our wired glass conforms to BS 6206 Class C for safety glass where necessary.

Stirling double glazing 24/7

Express Stirling glaziers offer a complete double glazing service including a local double glazing installer, double glazing repairs and Stirling replacement double glazing.

Double-glazed units take approximately two to three days to order, and all our units come with a manufacturers guarantee. If requested, we can replace the vacuum between the glass panes with a layer of Argon gas, to further facilitate heat management. We can also supply and install triple-glazed units on request for Stirling and the local area.
